Growth of the Church

Matt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

PRAYER:
Lord, we cry out to You to gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, and the bride from her dressing room. Your Word is clear that You are not willing that any would perish. Your mission field is the whole earth. We are commanded to go to all the world to preach the gospel to every creature and bring in the lost. Father, we ask that You fill the earth with the groaning that calls for You, for the infilling of Your Holy Spirit, for the call to repentance, salvation and the healing of the people of the whole earth. We pray for new believers to be baptized and discipled and to be added daily to the Church. We pray that they be filled with everlasting zeal and passion for Christ.

We ask that You draw believers together in every land, protect them, fill them full of Your truth, make them disciples, keep them fixed and stable and prepared to preach the gospel. Lord, You, rejoice over every lost person being found. We thank You, that You never leave nor forsake us, but Lord, if we wander, please come after us! We are added to the Body of Christ, one heart at a time. We pray for our hearts to be yoked to You, hungering for Your word, and seeking to be under the authority and care of the fellowship of believers. Help us to seek life giving and Spirit inspired teaching…indeed a planting of the Lord! Let Believers be trained up in the way they should go so that when they are mature, they won’t depart from it. Lord, grow Your Church, make us Your pure, spotless and unblemished bride. We see with anticipation …behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

*Lord, I am Your disciple, and You speak to me to preach the gospel to the world around me. Teach me how to love and share Your Word, your truth. I repent for any timid-ness in sharing Your love and Word, For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Help me to go the extra mile and bring Your children home to You. In Jesus Name, Amen!
