Fishing & Tourism

Ezekiel 47:9-10 And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; (from the top to the bottom of the county); they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.

PRAYER:
Father, we thank You for the fishing industry in our rivers, bays, and off our coast. You draw people from all over the country to come and enjoy the beauty and refreshing that comes from fishing in our rivers and bays. We pray abundant blessing on all who come, that they would experience a season of refreshing, and they would meet with You. We thank You for our commercial fishermen as well. We ask that You direct and help them, Lord, to find good places to cast their nets. We pray total protection from the heavy machinery and the storms of life. We are grateful, that You are Lord of the harvest. As You multiplied the loaves and the fishes, we ask that You cause our rivers, bays and ocean to be fruitful and multiply. Lord, we do not worship any other than You… we do not worship the sun or the sea…not even the beauty set before us, only You. In Jesus Name!

The Fishing Industry

• Cause the fish of the seas to multiply and be of exceedingly good health
• Give wisdom to the skippers and fishermen for safety, boat management and care
• Bring in the harvest! Strengthen the markets. Build jobs.
• Protection of our fishing fleet from storms. Give Your angels charge over our people and visitors.

Tourism
Thank you, Lord for the beautiful land you have given us to share with visitors. We ask that You create a hospitable environment where Your glory dwells, which attracts visitors to the Presence of God. Let our county be a place of refuge and restoration to all who come. Bring them to worship You and no other, and that they encounter You, here. Help us to welcome tourists with open arms, friendly hearts, pointing the way to Your love. We pray for people who visit to be good stewards of the property where they stay. In Jesus Name we pray! Amen!
