The Elections and Voter Fraud

The reality of voter fraud appears as widespread across our country as it is in the American media. Any internet search on this subject yields page after page of instances and accusations. It isn’t a new phenomenon in a free democracy, but it seems to be increasing at an alarming rate, fed, in part, by voting practices that require little or no verification of personal ID, by direct manipulation and by the influence of the internet and social media.

There are claims that more votes are cast in the United States than there are actual eligible voters. There are instances of votes being counted from deceased individuals or from those no longer living at the address of record. Requirements for showing identification at polling locations differ from locale to locale. Illegal residents are permitted to get driver’s licenses – giving them ID in many states. There is news of ballot harvesting by political operatives, and so on.

Proverbs 20:23 Diverse weights are an abomination to the LORD,

2 Peter 2:19  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.

2 Peter 1:3-4  as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Prayer:
Lord, our hearts are heavy for our nation. We know that we are reaping what we have sown. Corruption is rampant. Lord, we, Your children, confess the sins of our people before You. Father, we con-fess as sin the motivators of political corruption, and we lay an axe to the greed and quest for corrupt political power within our leaders. Some of this corrupt power grab has fed voter fraud initiatives. For-give us for the myriad of ways our people have engaged in voter corruption: Ballot rigging, stealing and harvesting, false information in voter guides, unauthorized or dead voters, search engine manipulation, social media censorship, ballot and voting machines being tampered with, and physical or emotional intimidation at the polls.

We confess these ungodly acts as sin as well as every other way Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy our nation’s democracy. Our leaders and their helpers have sinned against our people, and against You, Lord. Our legislators and Judges have dealt treacherously with our Constitution, the laws of the land and the American people. By virtue of our American freedoms, we bring our nation before Your throne of grace, asking for forgiveness, mercy and a restoration of righteousness. Renew a right spirit in every person. Our Republic was founded on principles of honesty, uprightness and integrity. We ask that You expose voter fraud hidden in darkness at the highest levels of leadership, at the medium levels of US citizenship and of those who are not US citizens. Bring to justice those who willingly and knowingly participate in and facilitate voter fraud. We pray they would feel conviction, and that the weight of their sin would bring them to confess publicly and repent so that justice can be served, and the sin corrected. Convict those who harvest ballots of moved residents and dead people. Help our county election clerks clean up the rolls of authorized voters. Help them compare signatures and identification with due diligence. Let righteous volunteers come forth! Lord, help our nation deal honestly at the polls. Your Word says You despise unrighteous scales. Voter fraud is an unrighteous weight on the scale. We, Your people and citizens, renounce voter fraud and ask for a sweeping move of honesty and integrity to fall on every American citizen including our leaders! Guide us with wisdom and discernment. Help us flee wickedness and corruption. Protect us from hidden traps or snares of corruption. We lift up our Secretary of State’s office and those of every county election clerk’s office, and every state engaged in mail-in ballots. We ask for a wave of integrity: one registered voter getting one verified ballot. Let us vote according to righteous scales, Your precepts and no others.

Lord Jesus, as a Christian, I desire to walk in obedience to You, and accurately discern the world of information around me. I, too, have been a victim of corruption. I have listened to and believed lies. I have made unwise choices. Help me make Godly choices and exert my voice with truth according to Your standards. Let every Christian engage in this privilege with wisdom, aptly doing our homework to discern candidates whom You would bless. Help me use godly truthful information to make my decisions. In Jesus Mighty and Righteous Name! Amen!
