Agriculture, Ranching and Industry

Exodus: 3:8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

Deut. 28:8-12 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand…. if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

2 Timothy 2:6 The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.

Romans 12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.

PRAYER:

Agriculture and Ranching
Lord Jesus, we give You praise for bringing us into a land flowing with milk and honey. We are honored to lift up our farmers and ranchers who work diligently to be good stewards of the land. Lord, we stand in the gap for them and ask for You to cause the splendor of Your majesty to be poured out upon the land and on these servants, who work hard to produce food and raise livestock for the meals we set on the table. Indeed, our breadbasket overflows in this country. In Genesis 1:26 You let man to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth … This is a land where Your glory dwells. Now, we ask that You strengthen and stabilize the markets for our farms and ranches. We pray That there would be an abundance of productivity that comes from this land, and that the markets would produce stability and jobs locally for our agricultural and ranching industries. You, are Lord of the Harvest!! We thank You for your abundant provision in our lives that we often take for granted. Help us to remember those who make it possible for food on my table and shelter. In Jesus Name! Amen!

Industry
We recall today those who work in the factories and industries that produce so much we need to live and thrive. Hour upon hour, day upon day, their lives are committed to transform the gifts of the land into the goods that meet our every need. We are grateful for their hard work, their creative minds, their tireless spirits and their deep commitment to serve others as you have served them. We ask you protection at their workplace from physical and spiritual adversity. May you bless the work of their hands. We pray for prosperity and success in all of their efforts. In the name of our Provider, Jesus! Amen
